The whole power of the universe is revealed in the sprouting of a single seed. After years of tinkering, we baked pure life into bread. You can taste this power and vitality.

Many years ago, Carl-Peter Kostner recognized that when moistened organic seeds germinated, stable nutrients were transformed into vital components of life. The multi-body of the grain is broken down, built up and rebuilt during this germination process. As a result, the content of minerals, trace elements and vitamins C, D and E increases significantly. The chemical change in the germinating seed sets in motion a powerful enzyme factory that positively supports the entire human system.

The revolutionary production method of the sproutbread can be traced back to the culture of the biblical »Esseners«. It is a complicated process to produce bread & pastries from sprouted organic grains. The road to get there was difficult and marked by setbacks. But after years of countless attempts, backing visionary Carl-Peter Kostner made it. Together with Gebado (Elisa-Energiesysteme) he developed the KOSTNER Lebenskeim bread.

In a complex process, the mother grain is germinated. The resulting sprouts are gently squeezed between granite rollers and kneaded into a very soft dough using only natural salt. The dough needs a very long resting period. After standing for four to six hours, it is baked at a gentle 160°C for just one hour. This manufacturing process guarantees a high-quality bread rich in protein, vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

Different types of grains, spices, seeds or herbs make up the different variations of the bread.

The organic sproutbread is avaliable in a few variations: buckwheat, sunflower, rye and spelt. They are all made yeast-free, without artificial additives and only with pure unprocessed salt and spring water from Zillertal.

Only the purest organic grains can be used for sprouting.

The organic sprout-crispbread is avaliable with sesame, spelt, cheese and olive oil.
